In October 2009 I'm purchasing a new Mahindra tractor (just like the one pictured here) for my farming family in India.  Not only will they be able to cultivate crops on their own farm with this new tractor, they will be able to work for an hourly wage cultivating their neighbor's farms.  Pics to follow after delivery!

 

   One of the men from the local temple is putting hindu symbols on the tractor as a blessing for good luck and safe operation of the new tractor.

 The tractor was delivered on Friday October 2nd and driven to their village (Khajuraho) from Chhatarpur where the Mahindra dealer is located.

 

Maybe a sign of luck: It rained the whole day!
